Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve

A 40-acre reserve established in 2015 as Connecticut's 110th state park, honoring the Auerbach family's 90 years of farming here. An easy loop of just under a mile passes historic apple orchards with views toward Heublein Tower and Avon Mountain. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset, free, leashed pets welcome; buses seating 30 or more are not permitted.
