Bethany Airport Property

A 112-acre town-owned recreation area on the site of Bethany Airport, which opened in 1923 and served early airmail flights before closing in 1965; the Town of Bethany bought the property in 1967. The site preserves a concrete airmail navigation arrow and a historic hangar, plus soccer and football fields, two equestrian riding rings, and a three-loop trail system (Yellow 0.28 mi, White 0.47 mi, Red 0.9 mi).
