A 516-acre park inside one of the largest unbroken forest stretches in eastern Connecticut; combined with the adjoining Breakneck Block of Nipmuck State Forest it forms a block with 419 acres of open water — Mashapaug Lake, Breakneck Pond and Bigelow Pond. Boat launches on Bigelow Pond and Mashapaug Lake; summer scuba diving. Open daily 8 a.m.-sunset; no camping.
