Burlington State Fish Hatchery

Established in 1923, Burlington is Connecticut's oldest fish hatchery, raising Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout plus Kokanee. Its Brown Trout "Survivor" Program collects wild broodstock from the West Branch Farmington River each year and returns their offspring to the river.
