Camp Columbia State Park and Forest

The former Columbia University engineering field school (1885-1983); the state bought the 500-plus-acre property for $2.1 million in 2000, and the stone tower given by the Class of 1906, the boathouse and the instrument house still stand among the regrown forest. Open for hiking.
