A compact walkable district: Fishbein Park with its 1986 gazebo; the 1871 Hartford & New Haven Railroad depot, a Second Empire landmark closed to the public as a station since 1994; Center Street Cemetery with burials as early as 1673; the 1847 Hall Elton Building; the 1895 Wallace Hose House with its hose-drying tower; and the 1916 Beaux-Arts Town Hall named for Lyman Hall.
