The park around EUR's artificial lake, 165,130 m2 in its owner's figure, with entrances on via Cristoforo Colombo, piazzale Enrico Mattei, viale America, viale Oceania and viale Umberto Tupini. The basin is about 1 km long and between 60 and 130 m wide, and the Palazzo ENI closes its south-east short end. The planting runs to oaks, poplars, magnolias, olives and maples, with laurustinus, ligustrum, pittosporum and conifers among them.

History

The park was inaugurated in 1962. The Passeggiata del Giappone, which its owner describes as one piece with the circuit of the lake gardens, was designed by Raffaele De Vico and planted with flowering cherries donated by the city of Tokyo; it is part of this park rather than a separate place.
