Founded in East Haven in 1922 by Italian immigrant Matteo Naclerio and still family-owned, Foxon Park is the cane-sugar soda that New Haven-area pizzerias pour by default; the signature White Birch has a subtle wintergreen taste. A working bottling plant with a small retail counter, cash only. Walk-in hours Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., closed weekends.
