Fraunces Tavern Museum

Housed in the oldest remaining building in Manhattan, the museum occupies the tavern where George Washington bade farewell to his officers in 1783 and where John Jay negotiated treaties during the Revolutionary period. Operated by the Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, open daily noon to 5pm.
