Hampton Hill Historic District

Listed on the National Register in 1982, the district holds 62 contributing buildings — 15 houses from the 18th century — along roughly a mile of tree-lined Route 97. Landmarks visible from the street include the Congregational Church, a circa-1727 tavern now a private residence, and the town hall in a 1920s former firehouse.
