The 1639 granite Whitfield House, Connecticut's oldest house and New England's oldest stone house, is currently closed for restoration; the Visitor Center, gift shop, and free archaeology exhibit remain open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Built in 1639 by the Puritan settlers led by Rev. Henry Whitfield; a National Historic Landmark.
