The High Line

A 1.45-mile elevated park on a former New York Central freight viaduct that ran its first train in 1933 and its last in 1980; its southern terminus at Gansevoort Street, with the Tiffany & Co. Foundation Overlook, opened June 8, 2009. Drew about eight million visitors a year by 2019.
