A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood-control reservoir with a 21-acre recreation pool, its dam completed in December 1968. Picnic sites, walking trails, a swimming beach, a ball field and parking; fished for largemouth bass, panfish and state-stocked trout. Call ahead to confirm beach season and gate hours.
