Kensington Soldiers Monument

Dedicated July 28, 1863 and recognized as the country's oldest permanent Civil War monument, commemorating six fallen Kensington residents. Designed by Hudson River School-associated artist Nelson Augustus Moore from brown Portland sandstone; owned and maintained by the Kensington Congregational Church.
