Knowlton Memorial Hall & Babcock Library
Historic site · Ashford, Connecticut
Built in 1923-24 by Charles C. Knowlton to honor his father and Revolutionary War hero Col. Thomas Knowlton, the hall was listed on the National Register in 1994 and has served as town offices, library and meeting hall. Babcock Library occupies the second floor; open Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9-5, Wednesday noon-8, Saturday 9-1, closed Thursday and Sunday.
