Lighthouse Archaeological Site
Historic site · Barkhamsted, Connecticut
Remains of the mixed-race community founded around 1740 by Mary "Molly" Barber and James Chaugham, a Narragansett man — cellar holes and a graveyard survive along the Jessie Gerard Trail. Designated a State Archaeological Preserve in 2008 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 1991.
