Madison Square Park
Park · Flatiron District, New York
A 6.2-acre park opened May 10, 1847, that hosted the Statue of Liberty's torch and arm from 1876 to 1882 for pedestal fundraising. Managed today by the Madison Square Park Conservancy with rotating public art installations.
