Moosup Valley State Park Trail

A 5.8-mile multi-use rail-trail on a retired railbed that carried the New Haven Railroad from 1898 to 1968, spanning about 62 acres of wetlands, rivers and ponds — 3.6 miles in Sterling and 2.2 in Plainfield. Open for biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding and winter snowshoeing; connects to the Coventry Greenway.
