Origami Fountain, 1707 Buchanan Street

A bronze fountain on bricks by Ruth Asawa, 1999, 78 by 44 by 44 inches. The San Francisco Arts Commission's Civic Art Collection records it under accession number 1999.22.2 and places it in the middle of the Buchanan Street pedestrian walkway, between Post and Sutter Streets, closer to Post Street.
History
The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency commissioned it. A second Asawa fountain of the same title stands in the same walkway at 1731 Buchanan Street.
