Pequonnock River Valley Park

Miles of hiking trails in a deep valley along a former reservoir river, with a flat 2.5-mile former railroad bed plus steeper ridge trails on both sides. The rail-trail corridor runs from Bridgeport to Newtown, passing the site of the vanished Parlor Rock amusement park. No parking sticker required.
