Pootatuck State Forest

A 1,103-acre state forest lying mainly in New Fairfield with a small portion in Sherman. About five miles of hiking trails; the Pine Hill Trail overlooks Squantz Pond and Candlewood Lake. Supports hiking, mountain biking, hunting and cross-country skiing.
