Quick Brown Fox Triangle

A 0.07-acre sitting area, Park ID Q360S, tucked behind the wall of the Long Island Expressway, with shaded benches and a statue of a brown fox. It is named for the pangram "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog," the sentence used to demonstrate font types because it contains every letter of the alphabet.

History

The triangle is officially part of the Long Island Expressway. It was reconstructed in May 2001 with a $600,000 contribution from Council Member Karen Koslowitz. NYC Open Data and NYC Parks both name it Quick Brown Fox Triangle; Wikipedia calls it Quick Brown Fox Park.
