River Highlands State Park

A 177-acre park on the Connecticut River, best known for the White Trail, a moderate one-mile out-and-back with river overlooks. Two primitive boat-in riverside campsites (up to six people each, $5 per person per night) are open May 1–September 30. Open daily 8 a.m.–sunset, free admission.
