A church on Larkin Street with an off-white stucco front, three arched inset doors at street level and a leaning bell tower. The congregation describes itself as intercultural, interracial, interfaith and interdenominational, and holds a Convocation each October, open to the public, at which it presents the Howard Thurman Award. The city register spells the name Church for the Fellowship of All People: it is San Francisco Landmark No. 309, designated in 2023.

History

Wikipedia records that the congregation was founded in 1944 by Howard Thurman and Alfred Fisk, and that Thurman left a tenured post at Howard University to help the Fellowship of Reconciliation establish it.
