The site of the Septizodium at the southern foot of the Palatine. it.wikipedia describes it as a monumental multi-storey nymphaeum facade raised by Septimius Severus in 203, forming the face of the Domus Severiana toward the Appian Way.
History
it.wikipedia gives its epoch as third to sixteenth century: it stood until it was demolished under Sixtus V.
