Squantz Pond State Park

A 172-acre state park on Squantz Pond with a swimming beach, boat launch, hiking and picnicking. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset in summer, but closed to vehicles in fall, winter and spring (walk-in only); no dogs April 15-September 30. Free for Connecticut-plated vehicles; out-of-state parking $15 weekdays, $22 weekends and holidays.
