A 50-mile multi-use rail trail on a former railroad bed running from Thompson to Portland, passing through East Hampton; the southern section alone covers 31 miles from Portland to Windham. Free and open year-round for walking, hiking, biking, horseback riding and skating, with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. East Hampton parking at Smith Street.
