Cedar Mountain Hiking Trail

The Old Cedar Mountain Highway Trail, with mulched connector trails through red maple, white ash, oak and cedar; deer, raccoons and the occasional coyote are seen. Dogs welcome; the ridge is used for stargazing, and the town's own page notes reported UFO sightings in 1965 and 1966. Open year-round, part of Newington's Greenway System.
