Chiesa di San Gregorio dei Muratori

An oratory at the end of an alley off via Leccosa, with a plan that runs across rather than along: the nave is wider than it is long, and the façade runs parallel to the nave, so the two doors open on the church's right side rather than at its end.
History
it.wikipedia records that the oratory was built in 1527 by the Confraternita dei Muratori and dedicated to their patron, Gregory the Great; that it originally stood by the port of Ripetta; and that it is today enclosed inside a building of 1934. Inside are frescoes of the life of St Gregory, stucco putti and gilding, and the original terracotta floor.
