Clinton Town Beach

A sandy town beach on Clinton Harbor facing Long Island Sound, with walkable sandbars at low tide, car-top launch access for sea kayaks, a fishing walkway along an old stone bridge over the Hammock River, and seasonal concessions and restrooms. Beach passes required 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day, with a gatekeeper on duty 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; from the third weekend of June through Labor Day, access is pass-holders only.
