The burial ground of Congregation Shearith Israel — North America's oldest Jewish congregation, established 1654 — in use from 1683 to 1833, and described as the only remaining 17th-century structure in Manhattan. A NYC Landmark since 1966 and NRHP-listed since 1980; the interior is by appointment only, but it's viewable from St. James Place.
