Galleria Principe Amedeo di Savoia-Aosta

A road tunnel under the Janiculum, running between Porta Cavalleggeri and Porta Santo Spirito. Its Porta Santo Spirito portal is in Borgo; the far portal is outside the rione, in Quartiere XIII Aurelio.
History
Italian Wikipedia credits the design to Cesare Bazzani from 1930, dates the works from 1938 and the opening to 1940, and gives a single bore of 0.250 km, 16 metres in diameter. The tunnel was originally called the galleria Gianicolense. Motorcycles under 125 cc are excluded from it.
