The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk

A nonprofit aquarium focused on Long Island Sound, a federally designated Estuary of National Significance, with more than 6,800 animals, a 110,000-gallon shark habitat, Pinniped Cove seal habitat, and a 4D theater. Open daily, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; near the South Norwalk Metro-North station.
