Mill District Preserve

A 117-acre public preserve owned by North Woods Land Conservancy, set between two branches of the Farmington River — a mosaic of woodlands, marsh, vernal pools and brooks. It adjoins the Bassett-Kell Preserve, Audubon Connecticut's Pasquariello Wildlife Sanctuary and Tunxis State Forest for longer linked walks. Trail map and kiosk on site.
