Noden-Reed Museum
Historic site · Windsor Locks, Connecticut
An 1862 brick barn, one of the few remaining brick barns in New England, and an 1840 farmhouse with period furnishings, antique carriages and 19th-century kitchen items. Local lore holds that Connecticut's first Christmas tree was put up on the property in 1777. Guided tours by appointment only — not a walk-in museum. Admission $2 adults, $1 students/seniors, free for children under 12 and members. Phone (860) 835-3698.
