Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge
Historic site · Simsbury, Connecticut
An 1892 metal-truss road bridge spanning 183 feet over the Farmington River; after a replacement bridge opened in 1992 it was restored in 1995 as a pedestrian flower bridge, now decorated with 62 flower boxes and 32 hanging baskets planted and maintained by volunteers. Free and open to the public.
