An indoor arena on largo Apollodoro, off viale Tiziano, built for the 1960 Olympics. Its own article places it in the quartiere Parioli. The building surface is 2,650 square metres and the total 4,800. No source states whether it can be visited outside events, so none is given here.
History
Annibale Vitellozzi conceived and designed it in 1956 with structural engineering by Pier Luigi Nervi, and it was built in 1956 and 1957 for events of the XVII Olympiad by the contractor Ingg. Nervi e Bartoli Spa. Pallacanestro Virtus Roma used it on and off until 2018. It was refurbished in 2022 and 2023 at a cost of 3,200,000 euro.
