A 607-acre island in the Connecticut River, once a farm and granite quarry, with woodland hiking trails and four primitive river campsites — Cedars, Hogback, Springledge and Quarry Knob. Accessible only by boat. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset, free entry; 2026 camping season May 1-September 30, reservations via Reserve America.
