Site of the first law school in the United States, founded by Tapping Reeve in 1784 and operated today by the Litchfield Historical Society. Free admission, Wednesday-Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; the adjacent Tapping Reeve Meadow is open daily, dawn to dusk.
