A theatre on Via Sistina. Roma Capitale records that it was inaugurated in 1949 as a cinema-theatre to a design by Marcello Piacentini, and that the culture ministry recognised it as Teatro stabile della Commedia Musicale Italiana in March 2003. History

Roma Capitale records that its popularity owed above all to Garinei e Giovannini, whose works were staged in over 45 countries and translated into 16 languages, and that Massimo Romeo Piparo has directed it since July 2013, succeeding Gianmario Longoni.
