Vitagraph Studios Smokestack
Historic site · Midwood, New York
The lone surviving structure of the Vitagraph and Vitaphone film studio complex, built in 1906. The Landmarks Preservation Commission declined to landmark the studio building in 2008 and it was demolished in 2015; the smokestack remains standing.
