A 65-mile Blue-Blazed hiking trail along the southern Metacomet Ridge, passing through Guilford, Durham, Madison, Haddam, Middletown, North Branford, Wallingford, Middlefield, Meriden and Berlin; Pisgah Mountain is Durham's named landmark. Maintained by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association, part of an official state greenway; call CFPA at (860) 346-8733 for trailhead directions.
