Millers Pond State Park

A 33-acre pond ringed by an easy, flat trail — a little rocky in places, so wear real shoes — with rock outcrops used as natural fishing platforms for smallmouth bass and trout. No beach or boat launch; an alcohol ban is in place. Free parking, open 8 a.m. to sunset, leashed pets welcome.
