The Carousel Museum

A permanent collection of hand-carved carousel animals donated from across the United States, including horses from around 1890 and a Dentzel Factory horse from about 1905, plus a major exhibition on Lake Compounce's 180-year history running through October 2027. Open Wed-Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun noon-5 p.m., closed Mon-Tue. Phone (860) 585-5411.
