Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, with 55 contributing buildings including the 1879 Old Town Hall, the 1909 Town Hall, the 1822 Old Tolland County Courthouse and the 1908 Ratcliffe Hicks Memorial School. Federal and Victorian architecture rings a narrow north-south green, publicly accessible with no admission.
